"Lovely Day" Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie
Makes about 4-5 cups (depending on the amount of bananas you put in)
Make Organic. Almond Milk (So Easy) 2 cups (see below if interested)
Frozen Organic Bananas (2-3) (broken into thirds, frozen night before)
Fresh or Frozen Organic Strawberries (Fresh is preferred)
1 heaping Tbl. Organic Sunflower Seed Butter (I like Once Again Creamy - lightly sweetened)
1/4 c. Org. Cacao Powder (I like the Navitas brand)
Vegan Protein Powder - chocolate flavor - (I love the Sunwarrior Protein Powders )
Add Ice cubes
Blend on high
I like to blend the mixture after each ingredient to make sure it gets all added in.
Take it on the go!
Organic Raw Almonds Milk - 2 servings -
(I get a bag from Sprouts but you can get these at Whole Foods, or your local health stores)
Handful of Raw Almonds in the blender (approx. 1/4 c. (light)- 1/2 c. (thick)
4 cups of pure water
Blend on high for 15-20 sec
Strain with a Nut Milk Bag or other fine type of strainer
Done!
This recipe will make 4 cups of almond milk ( I only use 2 cups in my smoothies, so if you make the full batch you will have an extra)
To make 8 cups of almond milk use at least 1/2 c.-1 c. almonds - depending on how thick and creamy you want it

Supergreen Shake!
I was first inspired by a blogger to embark upon the world of Green Smoothies, because....
I used to not be able to drink them. Didn't like them at all. Stayed away from them ....but
I was just doing it all wrong... she opened up my world to allow the creativity of green smoothies recipes to flow out of me.
This is one recipe that is tried and true for me. So easy and delicious!
SUPER GREEN SHAKE!
2 cups almond milk (recipe above), (can use water but won't be as creamy)
2 -3 Frozen bananas (2 will be thinner, 3 will be more shake like)
Handful of fresh greens, Kale, spinach or moringa (as pictured), (don't use lettuce, not a good fit)
1 -2 tbl. of Organic Nut butter (This is the secret ingredient to making it great)
Tbl. of Supergreens Powder (I use Sunwarrior Natural Supergreens)
1 tea. matcha powder (optional)
1 scoop (approx. 3 tbl.) Vanilla Protein Powder (I love Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein Powder)
3-4 ice cubes
Blend after adding each ingredient, blend until smooth.
Enjoy! Would love to hear your comments about this smoothie, and what creativity you bring to this smoothie!
Best Date Shake Ever!
1 Frozen Banana (break it into pieces before putting it into a bag in the freezer)
4 super soft dates *
Ice (1 1/2 cup)
Oat Milk (to cover )
2 tablespoons of organic creamy almond butter
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (I used KOS chocolate peanut butter flavor for this recipe)
Blend into smooth, you may have to blend it a bit more if the dates aren't super soft yet.
Add these ingredients to your blender in the order.
*For this are used for super soft dates and if yours are not super soft you might want to soak them in warm water for a few hours mine were organic Medjool dates
And then I blended it until smooth. I find that dates dates smoothies you have to blend a little bit more and if they’re super soft you don’t have to blend them as much but just check on it. Super delicious!
